Recipe: Super-Easy Apple Crisp

I’ve never been a huge fan of pie (not that I’ll turn down a slice from time-to-time), but you can always win me over with a good apple crisp. I was craving a little dessert-y goodness the other day, so I threw together the contents of my cupboard, and it resulted in a super-delicious, ridiculously easy apple crisp!

Super Easy Apple Crisp

2-3 Large Apples

1/2 cup Rolled Oats

2 Tbsp Coconut Sugar

1 + 1 tsp Cinnamon

2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

2 Tbsp Maple Syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice your apples thinly. Lay the apples across the bottom of a glass baking dish. Mix together 1 tsp of the cinnamon and the coconut sugar, and sprinkle a little on top. Add another layer of apples, and repeat the sprinkling, until your apples stack to within an inch of the top of the dish.

Mix the oats, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and remaining cinnamon together. Crumble the mixture over the top of your apples. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes, until the apples are soft. Put a scoop of ice cream on top, and enjoy!

So much prettier and lower sugar than the way I always make them. Can’t wait to try making this. Hugs. You rock.
